About Impoweredd Athletics
At Impoweredd Athletics, we help student-athletes (Grade 5+) and their families position, prepare, and propel toward next-level success. Founded by Dr. Zanthia Reddish—aka Dr. Z, The Ball Mom Doc, former school principal, author, and NBA mom—our programs bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.
Through transition coaching, recruitment readiness, academic support, and P.E.P. Talk workshops, we empower athletes and parents to C.R.U.S.H. their goals—in school, in sports, and in life.
Because when families are informed, athletes are prepared—and when athletes are prepared, they win on and off the court.

OUR EXPERIENCE
We are educators and parent coaches looking to share information and strategies to support other parents on their journey of raising student athletes. As the parents of an NBA player and another division I scholarship basketball player, the Reddish family has had an amazing basketball life.
Partnering with twin sister, Dr. Orathia, who is the mom of a D1 college volleyball player, we have gained unique insight and experience as they navigated basketball and volleyball courts from grassroots through college to the NBA.
WHAT WE DO
Using a one-of-a-kind personalized approach, we specialize in providing transition life coaching to parents of 5th-8th grade basketball players and share our knowledge and experience in sports and education to help them meet their goals and earn scholarships.
